My son receives his first ever trophy! He lost the race (Pinewood Derby, cubscouts). But, he won "Coolest Car" by popular vote. His grin was ear to ear. The photo is terrible, the lighting was horrible. I did my best with editing to make it acceptable. It will stil be a nice keepsake.

You know, the processing has its appeal just the same - if you step back from the shot as purely representational (of people, of gesture), it starts to have an interesting crazy quilt-abstract look.

As you said, a great keepsake - you've caught his pride perfectly.
