 I followed this guy around the lagoon by my house for about an hour before I finally got a good sequence of shots. Converted to b/w, cropped, sharpened, tweaked around levels in PSCS.

i really like that you can sense motion even though the bird is completely frozen in time

Noce bird shot. Under advanced editing, maybe reducing the shaddow cast over the beak would have helped as it is distracting and draws attention. Dodging the area to reduce it would have helped
