A pair of Mallards in their own private spot in the midst of my favorite wetlands park. I like the feel of intimacy here conveyed by their poses and the DOF.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped a little, white balance, increased contrast and saturation, 2nd layer (dodged ducks and water, merged in multiply mode), dodged ducks and water some more and a little of the grasses, cloned out a couple of featehrs, added border, resized, sharpened, cloned a few spots around the drake's head where it looked oversharpened. |

| Duck photos can be a dime a dozen, but you took this four or five levels beyond with this great environmental setting. It's now much more of a story in pixels with all the interest and details...well done! |
