two photographs of bugs combined
one shot of two mating and one shot of another one by itself ..
used CG Texture - Windows/other for the cracks ..
created the glass/texture look by making pencil drawing of image/screen blending mode at 10% opacity .. and using Flaming Pear - organic edges darken blending mode and deleted in different areas ..

created the inside borders by selecting an area with the rectangular marquee tool then edit/stroke .

They are such colourful little fellas! I love that we are viewing the broken bug through a broken window...I wonder if his/her antenne, spiky little black thing on his/her head regenerates, or if it's doomed to walk in circles for the rest of it's days. Nice processing.
