Nice composition and great job with the lighting, everytime that I take a picture of white on white, I have a hard time separating the subject from background =(

I took them to be meringues. Are they on top of something pastry? Whatever they are they look totally yummy, and the high key photos are delightful.

It's so funny, but the minute I saw this, without remembering quite where you were from, the photo brought back sweeeeet memories from my childhood when we lived in Germany. I will never forget the pastries. We lived downtown, and you could walk outside your apartment, and the streets and the air smelled like those pastries. Oooooh, my mouth is watering almost tasting them. You don't see them much over here in the U.S. but ohhhh what fond memories I have of the European pastries!

Thanks for sharing. ..even tho I'd rather be sharing them "in the flesh" :)
