This is kiki coco butter meerow. He is a beautiful stray cat that wandered into our life in Oct. 2008. I've never owned a cat before because I am quite allergic. But strange enough, I'm fine around him. Many have told me that cats choose their owners... and this one certainly suckered me into taking him in lol. More of his story can be found here:

UPDATE - this cat continues to have an interesting life:

Our cat disappeared at the end of July last year (2009). I had just taken him to the vet to get some shots. He's an indoor/outdoor cat so I let him go out to play. But he never came back. Later that week, a few more of the field cats disappeared. There were some mean terriers roaming the terrain killing all sorts of creatures, so I figured he died.

On May 24, 2010, I had to make an unplanned run to Walmart. While there, I decided to get some take and bake pizza. I had gotten to know one of the employees because of fundraising work I did with them. I have no idea how this came up (and she later told me that she did not know either), but she asked if I knew anyone who wanted a stray cat. Her neighbors had found one and had been taking care of it. I didn't think much about it until she started to describe him! Male, neutered, siamese mix, cream colored and talks a lot. Without seeing a picture, I was not quite ready to believe it.

So I connected with the family on May 25 (my birthday!) and went to their house. And there he was. I couldn't belive it! He did not really recognize me at first, but I called his name and he did recognize that! I think it was very confusing for him because I do believe that he liked this new family. And they were the nicest people too. So I felt bad about taking him away from them. But he is definitely home with us today.

He has been home with us now for more than 6 weeks and he has definitely settled in. This photo is of him on one of his favorite chairs. The most amazing thing so far is that he has not fought us too hard to escape back outside. He seems quite content to sit in the windows and sit on all our chairs lol.

I think he went thru a hard time during his disappearance. The family that found him said he had made some kind of burrough or nest right by the river. He was very skinny and had tapeworm too. If it weren't for these people, he would not be with us today. I owe them a very belated thank you note.

Also, I truly do believe that this all happened because of my Mother-in-Law. We lost her to cancer in April and I still have a hard time with it because I don't think I really got a chance to say goodbye. So since Kiki came back to us on MY BIRTHDAY via so many synchronicities, I truly believe she sent me a birthday present. Thanks Daneen :)

Wowee, the cat lovers understood this one. Nice histogram! That is one terrific look and I absolutely love the right side whiskers - it's like they are conforming to the frame! You must tell his/her name.

What a pretty cat! Did you rotate it? Looks like it, which I reallly like. Fun perspective, and such great eye contact. Cat's are funny, huh?

Excellent detail Michelle. I'm very surprised this didn't score much higher.

Your title is spot on!! "Has anyone told you lately that you smell a lot like tunafish? I could just lick you!"

Whisper Typing

In a corner, the web connection
blinks orange. I'm typing in
a whisper, laptop glowing, new moon
throwing shadows on mint green walls.

A monkey's thrown by moonbeams
over your crib. And I discover:
a keyboard dusted with baby powder
clicks so soft!

I would have marked higher if you had not rotated this. The cat is obviously lying down, so it should have been presented in that fashion, IMHO. Nice colour.
