So I took lots and lots of pictures at the Saturday market. I never knew they had so many apples, or so many different kinds of apples. It was an educational experience! Had lots of shots I considered, but this here is a Lensbaby shot with something almost in focus, which is something I don't get very often! Not very exciting, but hey, it definitely meets the challenge, yes? :-)

Apparently I am the only one who likes the softness of this. That's OK. At least I know better than to enter something like this in challenges in the future! Appreciate the feedback.

Is this challenge still running? At least when it closes, I'll have nothing in for awhile so I don't have to worry about another low score for a week or two!
Woo hoo! Made my bottom 10 challenges ever! :-(

| Nice lensbaby shot. Anytime you get tired of those high scores and ribbons, just enter a lensbaby pic. I think they are great, but few voters agree. |

| I didn't vote on this challenge, but this really stands out to me. The colors are pretty and not hitting me over the head vibrant, which I like. And that sweet spot couldn't be used better here. Very pretty and has a quality to it that reminds me of childhood summers. |

I was the only one to give this a 10?! I found this photo to be quite refreshing in a field of water drops/splashes and computers. The composition is spot on. Great eye to see this with the one apple with leaves on it. With any lens other than a lensbaby I don't think this would have worked as well (too much would have been in focus - even wide open).
It just feels so REAL. Very nice - I'm sorry to see it placed so far down the line. |

| I'm not sure what I would have given this, had I voted in the challenge, but I'm guessing at least a 6. I love the capture and blend of colors. And I have to say, that my fave part is the leaf that is in focus. |

| People may complain about the DOF, but I like it here. Something seems to be a bit off, whether it's saturation or brightness, to make this a super-high scorer for me, but I still give it a 7 :) |

| Nice 'organic' shot, but needs more separation of that one apple in focus from the rest. Lift it up a bit and increase dof carefully? |
