 Been trying to find everyday easy shots because of the inspiration of the other images in the Diptych side challenge.

I'll probably be using point and shoot cameras because I'm at work.

Tried to take a "boring" picture and make something else. I think the images together become more about line and shape than the original shots.

processed as duotones, then converted to rgb to do levels that included black. added a 50% grey fill layer, used the add noise feature and applied usm to it. Changed the blending mode to overlay to get the grit/grainy look. Added the black vignetting using a large soft brush on multiple layers of varying opacity.

brought the two together and decided on crop/orientation. applied more usm to the images and layer masked back the areas I wanted softer.

Oh yes, the grainy purple is just great, and the geometric lines are really engaging!

love the lines and perspecive .. great colours .. a real eye-catching image made from ordinary objects ..

Great presentation of something is normally overlooked. If the color tone of purple works great here.

That funky purple really works. It has an almost futuristic feel. I dig it.
