Love the white pedals against the green... awesome. This is probably the best flower pic of the bunch (behind mine of course) :D

That's a great capture!! Even though thre are way too much flowers here, the focusing is on the bugs for a change.
I just love this one - A 10!

Centered perfectly, with an interesting subject. The flower is useful like a background for the subject.

Really crisp photo of a great subject. I expect this photo to make an appearance on an insect porn site any time now... Very nice job!

Great exposure - hard to do with a white flower. Composition perfect for a dead-centered shot. DoF well executed. Are x-rated images allowed?

Nice to see.. A flower as a subject withought being just another picture of a flower. Did you erase the foot of the sunflower?

Took me ages to notice that there's two of them ...

Excellent dissociation of subject from background - good regularity, and good light. your title implies a subject other than the flower, and to be honest the bugs are a touch too blended into the flower tonally to be a clear subject. Intriguing work though, and one of few that meets the challenge correctly (as opposed to being simply something plonked dead centre): this actually depends for its effect on this composition. 7

This photo is very nicely executed. The square composition accents the 'centered subject' theme with a lot of strength. Your subject is also nicely separated and contrasted from the background with your depth of field choice. This photo has strong elements of shape, texture, perspective, color, contrast, and subject choice. Each of these integrate nicely to form a strong photo. The insects also provide something extra in this photo. They help create a dual subject and increase the overall interest/impact. Excellent work :)

Fantastic capture. Gorgeous colours, flawless focus, fits the challenge brilliantly. So vivid and crisp! Beautiful. The border also really works for this.

Perfect shot. 10

Good picture. I think it would have been better without the bugs. 7
