You must have had fun traipsing around out there, I hope you wore waterproof boots. ;-)
Of the two shots I prefer the other one. This one is nice but a little busy. I might have cropped off some of the trees at the top to bring the focal point back to the foreground.

I like this one better (although your other one is very nice also), the stream leads you, no ice to distract you in the foreground...how did you get the coordinates? Or are you a Geo-Cache as well?? It is a very pleasing shot, tranquil
