 Another last minute entry after lots of failed attempts. I seem to spend all week thinking up ideas, only for them to fail miserably during the shoot. I am not sure if the challenges are getting harder or if I am running out of ideas. Ohh well when all else fails I guess I just resort to taking photo's of our son Alfie.

This doesn't feel real to me, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps overprocessing? (was it run through portrait professional or something?) The skin seems to have no texture & the eyes seem overly bright, even for a boy as cute as him!

Lovely high key portrait with a fun expression, and great colours. I expect the more professional people on this site will complain about the left shoulder being blown out, but to novices like me, this shot looks awesome - I have it in my top 5.
