Nice example of what I'd call an "architectural abstract" -- love the repeating blocks of repeating patterns.
I also noticed the "halos" of light around the roof -- was it foggy? If you look at it with the right (mental) perspective, it makes it look like a model in a darkened room, with some for the light leaking out to illuminate the ceiling. :-)

I agree about the crop. Cropping the bottom at least (and maybe a little off the top) keeps the eye on the pattern and the inherent rhythm. Well seen. |

Great photo to begin with and even better now. I love the patterns abd angles and the light.
I agree with you about remembering taking photos. I can watch a movie nearly to the end before I realize I have seen it, but my photos always bring back the moment. |

I like the edits you did, and it did bring out more detail in the building. I do notice a slight "halo" around the roof line, but only if I look hard for it, or when I compare it to the original. Nice photo :D |

I like the new contrast here. Adds to the abstract pattern. It might be cool to perspective corret this and then crop a bit tighter to play up the window pattern. |

A subtle change from the original, but it really makes a huge difference in enhancing the shadow details. |

Ah, but to me that's what pictures to best - keep our memories for us, or at least provide a few clues. :-) Your edit really brought out the crispness and detail well, particularly the shadows on the eaves - gave it that little extra kick! |
