The shore of Woodland Lake by a friend's cabin where we spent our summer vacation this year.

Very little editing--just touched a few hot spots where the sun overwhelmed the sensor after exporting from LR.

Here's the RAW image, just exposure corrected (full frame):

You sure have a skill to capture this type of shot and make it beautiful. Another great example of keeping yours eyes open and taking advantage of the light.

It didn't last long. But the stump is right next to the dock at the camp/house we were staying at--just lucky!

I like the vignetting. It gives a real depth to the water in the foreground. The wide frame is excellent, drawing the eye into the centre of the image.

Gorgeous natural lighting on that stump, wow! The bit of cropping and wide border really add a punch for me as well.

Thx. The light is natural. No vignette has been added. Very little editing--convert from RAW and fix a couple of hot spots.

EDIT: Oops, when I went to check this, I was looking at the wrong file in LR (I was looking at the PSD file in LR). The RAW file did have the vignette slider set. Here it is with all LR sliders reset except for exposure.

The spot light dance! Lovely, lonely and so very gentle.

That is really nice. I like how the sun has found the stump.
