This was taken in a hotel in San Francisco after an improvised meal of real Chinese food and bottled soda from a nearby Starbucks. Anyway.

I didn't take many photos lately, so why not experiment. This will not do well, not at all. So, why not have fun?

This was also my first experience with GIMP - I have no idea how to use GIMP...how do I get EXIF data in GIMP, anyway?

Post Challenge - Here's the original, by the way.

This looks like a stolen photograph - she didn't know and you had to take it quickly. Unfortunately, the composition is not strong enough to allow for the lack of focus - strength in one or the other may have pushed this into something much more interesting.

This photo started to grown on me a little. It's obviously out of focus, but it looks intentional because of the title. Considering that, i think it's creative and tells a little story. Might been too dependent on title to stand alone though.

something to focus on would be great for this shot

the out of focus does portray late -and the downward look, the beer bottles, and harsh light from the lamp amplify these feelings - but without anything in focus, it almost looks like a mistake (but i realize it is intentional here)

I would like to see a series of these... subtle dramatic real moments. The photo isn't amazing technically, but it carries realness and emotional connectivity.

Who is late? Someone you are waiting for? This feels like a very personal photo, perhaps a self portrait but why did you want me to look at it? It's out of focus, tilted (my own pet peeve) and whatever is in the foreground is distractingly unidentifiable.
