 This is my sisters Siberian Huskey, Mukwa. She asked me to come out and do a portrait shoot of her 'boys' (she has 3 other dogs also), especially since Muk was old (15) and in failing health. We did the shoot, and yes, Muk passed on less than a month after. He was a beautiful dog, and a great friend. I do think this was one of my best shoots of the year, and turned out some beautiful dog portraits.

I gave this a 7. Thought it was a very nice portrait of Mukwa. I even went to the extent during voting to try to translate Mukwa, closest I got was 'Bear'. Nice character capture of him. On reading your notes... well, this image is a priceless gift now for your sister.

very solid pet portrait (good lighting, excellent pose, solid control of focus on the eyes)

a handsome dog well photographed - i love huskies - we had one ourselves for 14 yrs - ours always seem to want to have a conversation...
