Taken with my point-'n'-shoot, as I couldn't figure out how to get a macro with my XSi w/ the kit lens. :P
Mainly I just want to start entering again, both for myself and also so that smudgeSMJ stops yelling at me. ;) I don't know if this is necessarily my "best" from 2008 or not, but I like it all the same. And yes, I know that it is kind of fuzzy and grainy. :/ I'm workin' on it.

I like that there isn't a reflection in the eye, but do wish there were a bit more focus on the iris. Looks like the high key part of the pic could've been taken up a notch. Great shot of an eye though, I can't imagine taking something that does in fact look as good as this.
