 Of all the photos I took in 2008 (around 5000), I am most at one with this, which was shot towards the end of the year.

I took a series of photos of these three women and submitted one of them for the December FS. I didn't get a stellar score then, and I don't expect one now. However, I want to submit something that is within my artistic integrity - and that is this photo.

The only PP is a Bleach Bypass with Nic Efex Color Pro. Resize, sharpen, a bit of contrast to regulate the lights and darks. It's not a BW, and I like the slightest hint of color tone that is present.

The title is from a poem about the beach. The poem itself is not all that, but I liked the image conveys.

Close to a 6! Great photo. You know, I have a fave part and I have to share. In between the dancing boy and the three women is I'm guessing a surf-boarder. But at first several glances, I kept seeing a vertical bird with it's wings extended behind it. How weird am I? lol

I love the high contrast. Fabulous story without it being too busy. I love how the buildings and the people in the background fade to nothing. Oh, I just noticed the surfer!!! Great title too.
