From your title, it seems that you meant for the grasses to be the subject... however they seem to blend into the background behind them. Perhaps moving the camera angle up or down might have helped isolate the grasses a little better. The tones look very nice though. |

It really does look like that! A different approach - overlapping the foreground with the background, I like it :) |

the grays of the image really emphasize the layers created by the scene - the foreground grasses, the river loping through the scene, the foothills and mountains beyond, and the layers of clouds above
the image does give the strange impression of not being straight with respect to the horizon - it may be the mountains, or it may be tilted - hard to tell.... |

this is where I think some dodge and burn would come in handy (not to sure of that although)...the tones seem a little flat and it needs a little straightening |

crisp...nice b and w conversion...I would have stepped closer to the water as the foreground is distracting...horizon seems skewed 7 |
