Different and yet "another" book by David Bach. You know he's 5 foot nothing? Good luck.

The lighting isn't good for a stock photo.

nice shot, wish the mans face had been a bit brighter but we carn't have every thing

Don't we all wish...

It really looks like a sudden push of the exposure button. Next time, please, take more care of the background, it's really distracting. Also, try to avoid flash: this is why your foregound is overexposed and the background underexposed. The aura around the book is also distracting, I guess, it is the artifact of the post-process. Next time, please, pay more attention to the set-up. Setting up the photo and the environment takes most of the time when making a photo for the challenge, but I can say, surely, it will pay off. (2)

background to dark

When I first saw this, I thought he was reading a Dave Barry book! Love the sticky notes. Probably could use some better lighting on this. However, you composed it well, my eye goes up to the book, and then past it to the man's face.

A little bit busy and a little bit specific - not ideal as a stock photo.

A good advert for the book, but the face is too much in the shadows.

Cool idea, but the subject's face is too under exposed, otherwise great shot

I think this would have worked well with just the bottom half-- the book, hands, and papers.

I like the photo but the little reflections on the frame of the glasses are distracting to me.

Great idea, IMO. I'm not sure the execution is quite where it could be. I'm seeing halos around the book. I wonder if that's a PP choice, or a slow shutter. The image should have been exposed for the face, and not the book, because the post-its are the star of this image, not the book, IMO. Also, you can see the tape on the post-its and it detracts a little bit. The image is underexposed overall, as well. But like I said, a pretty humorous concept, in general.

i really think that the bottom slightly blurred edges adds to the picture. and the way the book slightly glows is super cool too. and the post its add the final touch. over all, its a great picture!

Not enough light on the face to really score well, I fear.

Not sure how I feel about the composition of this photograph...
The lighting really isolates the book but I feel like the person is lost a little too much.

A fun idea. I wish that your lighting would have made it back to the business person. Specifically the hair starts to get lost in the darker background. I would also think about doubling over tape and putting in under the post it notes as putting it on top of the post it means you get some reflective glare that immediately draws the eye.

A one-step plan?! Those are the best kind! Sign me up! Wait-- do I have to actually do anything in step one?
