 A spring snowfall. I wanted her to be small with the trees towering over her, so I stood waaaaay back and used a 200mm focal length for the shot. I like how it looks like a natural selective color (which I hate when it is done artificially). The light was very flat and overhead, which is the one thing I wish I could change.

I gave this a 7 and thought it a very nice capture, and an image that this size doesn't do justice and would make a nice wall sized, and brings a certain 'clean, fresh' feel to the viewer. I like the scale between her and the trees too.

So clear, I really like this, without the girl in the shot it would not be as good.

almost two images in one - the girl seems almost overwhelmed by the winter wonderland - and that works nicely here. I just wish we could see this at larger than 720 px as it is hard to really see her expression (maybe a tighter crop for the DPC posting would have been in order)
