The flowers in the shot are fake (set into a glass), and were suspended upsidedown. The shot was then rotated by 180 degrees, cropped, focus tweaked, and colour & hue balanced a little.

I love the simplicity of this composition, and also the coloring. The illusion is clearly visible and thus meets the challenge. if there would be any changes I'd make, I'd make it a little lighter, with a touch more contrast, and perhaps increase the sharpness. But it really is acceptable as is. Good idea, well executed. Congrats! Grayce aka Gracious

might have been more 'illusory' with the water upsdie down : ) .. good composition, though.

Well done illusion! For kicks, you could have displayed it upside down, so the vase w/water looked as if it were the one on the ceiling. Very well done!

Great title, great illusion! 9/10!

Nicely done. Simple, but appropriate. I think that I would have flipped this picture upside down, that way the watter would appear to defy gravity. Focus and lighting are good. Meets the challenge. 8 waltoml.

Very good photo and good illusion. Lighten up on the green a little. Really do like this.

would be more effective if you turned this upside down so it looks like the water is staying put.

strong composition. maybe a higher contrast in background color to accentuate? still, great shot.

The idea is nothing revolutionary, but it didn't really have to be either. I think the lighting is just too flat on this. It just doesn't have any real strong qualities that make it more appealing. Just suggestions here but maybe a more dramatic light source, or a unique background, but something to make it a little more noticeable if nothing else. - Good Luck. I am only one vote - Inspzil

Good composition. You needed extra lighting to remove the shadows.

Should have gone the other way up - with the water not running out of the inverted vase.
