I took this on a very VERY cold gray day in Texas. My favorite kind of day to get out and shoot photos. I have never gotten the rhino to so much as look at me -- but this day, he posed, and followed me around wherever I went while I shot away. I actually locked eyes with him and felt connected to him. What an amazing animal!

Wow you were so lucky to have him pose for you. I lov the way he fills the frame it gives the viewer the idea of his size and power. Another great shot from you Sandy!

The detail here Sandy is brillant. I does seems as if he is smiling at you (of course while chewing....which is impolite). A great shot indeed.

Whoo! Talk about coming right out of the picture. Really plastic (3D). As if we were breaking down the rhino into components. Engaging, accessible. I appoint you PR person for rhinocery.

Wow. Okay, I love rhinos. And you did an amazingly excellent job with the depth of field here. your toning is perfect as is the sharpness. you managed just enough of the tilt of his head to capture an eye but to still have it appear as a straight on shot. I'll admit it - in all my attempts, I have not gotten one this good of a rhino. gotta give you that 10.
