 Fresh tulips, Ikea bud vase, north light + reflector set against (and on) black foam board + glass for reflection.

Idea started with trying to have a bud, partially open bloom and fully open flower showing a sort of progression of life in a single scene ... but that wasn't working. My alternate entry is a bud juxtaposed with a full bloom, using shallow DOF. We'll see how my choice goes.

Don't expect much since the shot isn't terribly dynamic and not a captivating landscape of some sort; 5.5-5.8 or so.

A nice set-up with nice lighting and color. Looks a little weird on the right side of the bottle: probably due to size restrictions.
