This is just one of those you dont have words for! Maybe a little more exposure on the lighthouse but I guess some photos are best not edited.

Lovely leading lines even though the horizon is very tilted, crisp and clean the sharpness of the details is brilliant, good DOF, well done

one of the best sunset shots in the challenge i have seen so far - the light of the lighthouse makes the shot and the textures of the sand in the foreground provide much needed texture

Excellent image, I love the colors and the range of tones, love the light on one side of the Light House. it is a little dark on the left, but I can live with that.

I'd like to see more detail in the clouds and to the left as these areas are quite dark on my display.

Tough scene to expose for in any event so kudos for this capture.

Caravela? Excellent shot, as always. But I must say I love the shot of this beach that you posted in some FS. That one it just outstanding. Still, I think this is better than my best of 08' ;)

wow. i predict this will do very well. it certainly holds its own against others i have seen. beautiful scene captured at just the right moment. it really makes me feel like i am standing there on the wet sand.
