Expecting maybe between 15th-25th place. I didn't realize this was a Basic Editing challenge til after I created a dramatic scene in CS3 that was pretty cool looking. Later found out I couldn't submit it and had to use this one instead....oh well.

The colors are kind of flat to me, I'm sure I will recieve a few comments on that and through the windshield is the Bay doors in the fire station lol.

"By the way this image is not real"

[Jan. 10th, 2009 06:14:14 PM]

It's me on the gurney with a remote in my right hand. Partner is acting like he is working me.

I would never photograph any of my patients, for one it's immoral and secondly it's against the law in Arizona to share info on my patients "HIPPA Law"

As an EMT myself, I knew this was not real. I imagine some thought it was though and had mixed feelings on how to vote this.

In the first moment I indeed thought this is a real scene - well done.
Only the way he holds (or rather not holds) the mouth piece seems to indicate it's set up. And hopefully someone thinks of raising the bed (or whatever it's called) when things are real, probably would be bad for his back this way, I guess.

A little too convincing. Nice job though. I gave it a seven.

Hi Lucus, I am very glad to read that this is a setup scene...obviously it was well done as it made me feel uncomfortable. I think, certainly for me, having had a loved one go through an extremely traumatic death it touched a nerve with me an that may well have been why I left the comment I did...

Can't argue with this as fitting the topic. Was he ok in the end?

I am assuming this is a very real image...I find this quite difficult to look at to be honest and dont feel, if this man is really fighting for his life, that it should be shared with the world. Sorry. Are you related to the person? Or maybe you work as a paramedic? I will come back to this image after voting to read your comments.
