a bit over exposed....do you auto bracket? I think it would have helped with this especially if you were shooting at a distance hand held. Nice find and I like the composition.

If you could have just caught them lifting up their heads this would have been a great shot, but as it is with them hidden it is missing that extra detail needed.

It is nice but I would like to look at them to the face...

Nice shot, but two things detract from this shot for me. There is a blade of grass in the center forground that is outside the DOF (much closer to you) that is distracting and is unfortunately does not contrast very well. The second is pehaps a personal preference, but I would have waited until one of them looked up (best of all, looked in my direction).

This is a good capture of the moment. I really wish they were both looking up, maybe with some grass hanging out of their mouths or somthing like that. That is just my personal taste.

i would have liked a bit more color saturation/contrast ... and if one of the deer actually looked at the camera it would be great

quick where's my rifle!!!

I like animal photos, think this would have been better if their faces weren't buried in the grass though.

Too bad we can't see the faces. But it's an action shot so it's (mostly) understandable. Contrast seems a bit weak so maybe try adjusting the levels. Nice details throughout.

I like the texture, but I think if you had waited until they looked up or away it owuld have been a little bit better but interesting perspective on the subject.

I wish I could see one of their faces! Moreover, it's not quite in focus and a bit over-exposed. Keep trying!

it would be nicer if you caught the animals with their heads up...

I realize your title puts the focus on the antlers, but somehow, I feel cheated not seeing their heads. Otherwise, the shot looks to be a bit light to me.

Nice bulls, but would have waited until one of them lifted their head to see the face/eye.

Nice, but I would have preferred it if I could have also seen at least one of the faces.

Too bad you couldn't catch them with their heads up!

overexposed and no clear subject.
