Ah, yes. Reminds me of the little stand of trees I'd drive by when traveling between Austin and San Antonio. Only this adds the feel of the dustbowl era. |

Another 'un that'd make a fine FS......don't sell yourself short, dear lady.

Great PP Judy. Gives a very isolated and sombre feel to this image. |

My first thought was "cool shot!", my second "wow she used one of my overlays"! I'm flattered, you used it quite well here. This shot has just the right amount of "bleak", if that's possible. :) |

Desolate, barren, lonely and yet hopeful somehow. Outstanding processing! |

Yeah, feels very dustbowl/Grapes of Wrath. Nice choice of overlay. |

Has a sad feel to it. Very serene, which I like a lot. |

This has that very desolate place sort of look, even before the overlay. The overlay gives it a weathered look that adds even more to the shot, making it look like something retrieved from an attic in an old abandoned house with a leaky roof. It's total effect is that of a very emotive image. Just right! |

I had exactly the same reaction as Roz when I looked at this - tales from the Great Depression. It looks hauntingly desloate. |

Nice landscape photo. Overlay gives it a very old effect. |
