Didn't know the name of this one, luckily there was a small text on the box. Saw it sometimes in a restaurant as decoration of a dessert! Officially it's called "Physalis peruviana". According to the Wikipedia it's a Cape Gooseberry (Kaapse goudbes in Dutch). Didn't know what to do with it, but found a nice dessert recipe. Most ingredients were available, so here it is. Kind of chocolate cake.

Recipe for 4 persons:( a quick translation)
150 gr. chocolate + 100 gr butter (very slowly melted, au bain marie). Add 1 tablespoon of (orange) liqueur, 6 almond cookies (crunched), put it on a quiche plate (18 cm). Divide 8 berries in a circle and put it 2 hours (covered) in the fridge. Cut the "cake" in 8 pieces and put them on (4) plates with some cacao powder. Bon appétit!

After dinner: the fruit was wonderful, the chocolate heavy (but nice).

Tip: I had some problems getting the chocolate out of the plate. Put the bottom of the plate for a few seconds in hot water and it's a lot easier.

I think this is one of your best. Those berries are beautiful still in their "leaves".

I do think you could do a recipe book. One page is the photograph, the facing page is the recipe.

Yep! Henk, I agree with the three comments below. You have a real talent for these food and fruit shots. This is another excellent image. Love the black background.

Perhaps you should put out a recipe book with these gorgeous photos to illustrate it. I'm not familiar with that fruit, but golly it looks gorgeous against the black. That dessert looks so yum.

I agree with Roz, you should approach a local Restraunt and offer to do some shots for menus and such. Your work is very good.
