The upper part of a carafe in front of a printed sheet black with white squares. The carafe is full of water - it was too distorted without water. Lighting from below a glass table, in a narrow slit between 2 sheets of black paper.
Postprocessing: camera raw, rotate, crop, adjustment layers for level, curves, color balance, hue and saturation. Resize, noise ninja.
I'm aware there is a slight tilt/distortion, I'll fix that after the challenge - not allowed in basic editing.
