|Shot from within a walkway between a parking garage and office building in Ft. Worth. Got this shot just before the rent-a-cop came along telling me I was not allowed to take photos there. Naturally, he could not give me a good explanation of why I could take a photo of this building from the street, but not from within the walkway.
It's been a while since I submitted an entry taken with my Powershot S5. I carry it with me everyday in my briefcase, and I had this idea on the way home. It's not what I had envisioned, but it worked just as well. I might have done some from another skywalk, had I not been chased off.
Got a little creative with the processing on this. I would have liked to apply a little distortion correction on the right edge of the building, but those darn challenge rules keep getting in the way. I'm pleased with the illustration-like quality, but it's probably too abstract to have high scoring broad appeal. On the other hand, my wife does not really care for it, so that is probably a positive sign for a good score.
Made my profile page and the top 20. Yay!
Note: I am now starting a small business on the side. For a modest fee, my wife will evaluate your potential challenge entries. All you have to do is choose the one she likes the least and you will be assured of a good score by using my patented method.
