Whoa! Your "1st year" thread led me back to this image, and made me recall how much I like it. Like Chromey said, the control of tines and textures is fantastic, and that's pretty much my bag...

Great find, very nicely processed to suit the tone I suspect you were after. And beat the crap out of your projected score. I love when that happens!

beautiful. I love how the cross seems to have rotated ever so slightly out of its grid.

i liked the moody drama - perfect for the subject. Glad to see it scored higher than what you predicted.

With or without the evangelic/ecclesiastical title a beautifully gritty, effective, satisfying overall edit. 8

Wow, that's powerful. Great geometry and textures, smart processing.

I gave this a ten, by the way. It's a unique take on the challenge, and has a strong message. It's also my pick for this challenge.

Not crazy about the green walls from the funky editing but love how the cross stands out.

Wow! Just, wow! Gritty and very powerful. Stunning use of colors and contrast. Excellent work. This is going on the front page. Or else I just don't get DCP voting at all :-)

I'm glad your thinking of religion during this time of the year but don't hold your breath on a quick return but thats another story. I actually like this image and I don't normally like images with a religious theme, the tones are very nice and the composition sits well.
