You've posted a lot of bleak and desolate shots in winter. This one gets movement form the blur and thats very nice. But perhaps it is more aptly titled stopping by woods... a bleak and desolate Frost poem, Still and icy, introspective and pensive.

Beautiful tunnel effect here, whisking us towards that lone figure. There's a bit of sadness and solitude in this dream.

What a GREAT photo. I love these perspective photos. It looks so beautifully cold and wintery in natural black and white.

This was one of my top rated images in the challenge. Beautiful snow-covered trees, I would like to be that person on the road enjoying the quiet solitude.

My first thought was that color photos would be necessary for good lensbaby shots. But I'm seeing some striking black and white stuff too! Nice work.

PostLuminous Award WINNER!
FANTASTIC!! Fantastic in both the "great" sense and the "fantasy" sense. A dreamlike, cold winterscape, given depth/surreality by the focal range and meaning/significance by the tiny figure in the distance.

LOL, that's just a person who wandered out of the woods and turned around to wait for his wife/girlfriend. He's about 100 yards away.

From a LB point of view, it's interesting how the focus is neither 'here' nor 'there', but right in between. That seems just right for the shot.
Doesn't make it 'pop' but makes it 'crackle' instead, which also seems right of course.

Cool shot, reminds me of the scene in The Shining when Jack is chasing Danny through the maze. Nice use of Lensbaby.

Dreamlike, lovely b/w, wonderful to have the blurred edges with such amazing sharpness along some of the trees.

Love this image! Such a dreamy feel to it. Perfect location of the sweet spot to draw the eyes to the person walking.

I find this shot very interesting, the blur is disorientating at first but sucks you right into it great job.

I love the blur! Looks very nice with the border and the black and white, too. The person at the end of the road adds the perfect touch - the shot wouldn't be as good without him, imho. :)
