 A shot from November, on a gray wet day when the carnations chrysanthemums (thanks Mary!) had bloomed but were bent over from the rain. Some sort of Lightroom preset, then some levels, layers, dodging in Photoshop, then a sorta layer added via some framing program I have on my computer that I don't use much. More processing than I'm used to! Even added a signature...

I rather like it.

Looks like they're sweeping the ground beneath them. Beautiful muted tones and the overlay looks like rain running down the windowpane.

I like the muted colors and the water; almost a sense of motion. In the act of hanging down and they can't go much farther.

But I don't think they're carnations 'cuz they don't look ruffled. Chrysanthemums, maybe?

I "rather" like it too! It's just beautiful! The darkened colors, the water droplets, the overlay, the pose... just gorgeous and not your normal shot. Gosh, it's just stunning!
