| The pose is perfect and reminds me of youthful anticipation. Nice job capturing emotion using the lower extremities. Very nice use of this overlay. |

| The body language here speaks of waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I don't know what exactly I am seeing in the backdrop but when I first saw the thumbnail and even now I STILL think of tattered wing angel sitting in a chair waiting ...perhaps patiently in purgatory?!? I know that your main focus was on the shoes but for me it is the pose that speaks of long waiting and those 'tattered' partially seen 'wings' in the backdrop. I am surmising that the crackled texture is to give the feel of age to complement the mood/feel of waiting for a long time (perhaps she is 'Waiting for Godot';-)?) but I feel it distracts more than adds. A warn feel around the edges would bespeak age and long wait more IMHO. |

| I really like the stark gray of the background/chair legs - nicely sets off the shoes. Also like the blur at the top. |

| I normally really like overlays and such, but I feel all the cracks distract, but may just be me. I really like the lighting and colors, the composition and emotion with the body language is amazing. |
