Makes perfect sense to me, and this is a GORGEOUS shot. Love the high contrast B&W and the nifty balance of it with the crib, cow and tree. The bird on top is a delightful bonus! The washed out winter sky is just right for this, too. Very nice!

Lovely picture, and although your title explains the before and after, it doesn't look much like a before and after, but good luck with it.

To bad you felt you needed such a long silly title but I guess that's the way it goes here at DPC. It's a really great find and idea and the photo is very good to me: 10

Interesting shot, lots of contrast. But I'm not getting the before part of the "Before and After", not without the title anyway, and even with the title it seems like a little bit of a stretch to me.

sorry but i do not see the before any after, it might be because i am 13 but i still love the shot and the idea 7

The black area just about the cow is distracting me from the overall shot. Also, the ground and sky are almost completely washed out, while the cow seems a little dark. It might have been worth bracketing a shot like this because of the strong contrasts in colours to make sure you get a good one.
