The nut was the most interesting and rusty part of this street hydrant I found. I made some levels adjustments and cropped to focus on the nut.

It's rusty, but not particularily that interesting. I feel like the image is strangely tilted. Focus and clarity are ok, and lighting looks to have been on your side, but I'm just not drawn in and kept there. ~Heather~

What colors and lighting. The offset angle and seeing the nut from only one side really help this pictures.

the tilted frame is distracting and hurts the composition. good colors and on the whole quite good.

I'm drawn to this image because of the unusual colors. Good seeing! Your composition is well executed. It needs just one thing to really make it sparkle - perhaps some better lighting would have helped. Strong entry nevertheless.
