nice ...except for the background

Like the angle of the light but not how hazy it makes the entire upper left and corner. Background could be less distracting, though I like the texture and color of the gravel. Is that bluish streak a lens artifact on the water tank portion of the toy? It detracts.

Quite nice although a little to much glare.

An 8.

Nice subject, but shooting into the sun is poor practice. Both the strange little white fleck in the center (a lens flare spot), and the washed out left side are results of this. Additionally, the trees in the background are "growing" out of the tank on the firetruck: the framing of the subject is nice, but the overall composition is lacking in attention to detail. Keep at it -- you have an eye for it.

good, background is a drawback

A bit of sunflare ruins this otherwise great shot. I'm not sure if that was the intention, but it spoils some of the detail I think. 6

Harsh light to the left ruins the image.

memories that are forgotten? What's the sense in that?

Lighting hurt you here, play with that for a more impacting subject.

Great character--Like this. With the great lighting it almost like this little rusty vehicle will magically start moving and drive happily through the gravel.

I love this photo. Subject matter is wonderful...as well as all the other qualities.

Title is a slight contradiction in terms, but no matter. The picture is good.

The image quality is really nice but this doesn't do much for me.

This would of done much better -- on a different surface with a less distracting background. It's really a cool find.

This would have been great if the house wasn't in the background, and if there was bit less intense lightingon the front of the fire truck.

Like the idea, but the background need to be less distinct, less dustracting, especially the two green trees/poles coming out of the chimney - they need to be removed by using a slightly different angle
