Shutter: 30 s
Galleries: Seascapes, High Dynamic Range (HDR)
Date Uploaded: Dec 6, 2008

 HDR'ed and I changed the aperture instead of the shutter speed so the water would stay smooth. I wanted to over do the colors abit, but not too much as you can see from the outtake which is not HDR.

It's a very nice photo that to me, seems to concentrate more on the pier then the sunset/sunrise.

this must be a HDR...I like the blues and how they fade to yellow, but are they a little to blue...saturation pushed a little to much...but I love the colors anyway...

I love the way the bridge looks in this in the back. I think perhaps less water under the dock would make it pop more for me.

When I see a picture with instant appeal I ask myself: Yes, but would I have it on my wall? - I'd have to give this more of a panoramic style crop first. 8

After 30 images seen in this challenge, this is the first with more than a red/yellow glow: a composition. Simple and very nice.
