A Fractalius layer mixed in luminosity mode. If you look closely you can see the ceiling fan from yesterday, and the bright spot in the middle is the camera flash, with darker lens beneath.

The ceiling fan looks like an imprinted flower at first. :) Fascinating use of this filter.

I absolutely love it... except the darn fan :) Beautiful colors. Great swirls to add that dreamy effect of Christmas.

I sure do recognize that fan! I love your processing as usual :-) And thanks to your recent images I've been reminded about Fractalius -- it's a tough one and you sure apply it well!!!

I am really digging this filter thing you are using. I do suppose one would have to really understand exactly what it is they were after to use it and you do it well.

Very cool! I like the effect and the contrast of the colors. I do wonder how a black border on this would look?

It's amazing what shows up in reflections. Kind of reminds me of a shot I did back when I was entering challenges. The effect of the Fractalius layer on the Christmas ball is is interesting -- sort of looks like one of those ornaments that have flocking on the outside.

HEE HEE - I like the fan in the ornament. Looks like a poinsetta.

I'll have to try this. The luminosity mode gives quite a smoothing effect to the fractalius. Nice soft tones too Ken.

Yeah, it did look like a surgery shot in the thumb. Wild effect!

Absolutely whatever! Very cool looking scene. I thought it was a surgery shot before I opened the thumb.
