Hope that didn't permanently stain the teddy bear. Would be a shame to ruin the bear for a so-so picture. Good focus, good light, need idea, even ight the background but it's still not a 10. An 8 maybe but not a 10

Not funny.

the lighting is not an obvious factor in this picture, and the composition is weak.

Wow! What is your purpose? You couldnt have thought of anything better. Hmmm...Lighting is good. Subject is bad.

The lighting in this one is anything but dramatic. This reminds me more of Brahams than Niccolo. - Inspzil

I thought this challenge was about light sources, not killing innocent teddy bears. Yes, there is a light source, but I don't feel that it was used in dramatic, or even interesting, way. I would have to say that I am not at all certain what this photo is supposed to be about. I look at photos from-(at a minimum)- the following angles: does it convey the intended message (ie: the challenge subject); is it a good/fascinating/interesting photo; would I hang it on my wall. No, No, and No. lhall

baby blue? was that taken from your room? you day you'll get to grow up and be a big boy (hopefully)...violin 'boy'...1 for lack of taste and for wanting too much attention

Not much going on in the lighting area. Should have saved it for the week we have the dead stuffed animals challenge. Then you'd get a 10.

eww. But really, it doesn't work. I thought it had gum on it till I read the title and didn't even notice the knife (if it is a knife) till I started to typw- Why not stand the knife upright and let it cast a sinister shadow in teddy?

Lol. The guy in the back is Paganini, by the way :-) I dunno, this doesn't do anything for me. Nice stab wound, looks like it's a a bright red acrylic oil. The light is too harsh IMHO. Let's see, i don't like it so you should get a 1, but hey, since there is a teddy bear being stabbed, i'll make it neutral. 5 paganini (don't ever say i never try to be nice!!)

*update on second thoughts, what the hell, a stabbing teddy bear :-) you're gonna get bashed in your score anyway, so i am giving you a 10 to even out the average...

This made me laugh. With all the forum talk, this should get some laughs. Lighting is good, focus and clarity are good. Technically very well done. A shame to ruin such a cute teddy though. lol. I think I would have liked to have seen more of whatever is skewering Teddy. not really sure if it's a knife, or just a metal object of some sort. Might like to have seen that a little clearer, otherwise, a nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~
