Ah, I see that JPG Mag is looking for pictures of ceilings. I thought it would be quite a mundane subject (certainly my own ceilings) but maybe it isn't!

very cool - it's like the sky has it's own ceiling fan

Sure wish I could take a picture of light like that and have it not blind anyone. Nicely done and the blue is serene.

The blue in the BG really sets this one apart. Can't even tell you used the filter on this one but it looks wonderful.

Now that's how you take the absolutely mundane and turn it into art. All this needs is a frame. Very bold!

I've never seen a ceiling fan look so good. Nice job

Fortuitous choosing of the wrong lighting conversion, the blue does look wonderful! I thought that maybe the light globe was frosted, the fractalius works great here.

Very nice composition. The contrasting colors work great! I really like that you let the blades fall off the sides. The only thing that I would like to see on this photo is a crisp black border. Also, I will be another one to ask, is your ceiling really that color or did you modify it in post?

This is pretty striking. I'm seeing you lying on the floor thinking, hmmm... let me shoot that..

Colors are awesome.

But why is that one blade shorter than the others? At least it appears to be; can't tell for sure since some of the other blades are out of the picture. Looks like a partially disabled fan ;-) I like the light on the ceiling.

I'm guessing that's a light and fan combined? It has a nice glow! : )

wow ken .. i see this photograph and think it must be a fan on the ceiling and then i notice you've put it in the digital art gallery .. i look at it some more and wonder about that incredibly vibrant blue ceiling .. most ppl have white or off white ... the 'thing' in the middle of the fan is unusual too .. i havent seen anything like that in oz .. well, you've got me stumped .. might'v been your intention .. see how many ppl you can confuse .. chalk up roz for starters .. !! ..:)
