12.08.08 Well it appears that there is a large disdain for frogs at this point. Oh well - when I look at my bamboo I thought of my frogs. I wish people would vote in accordance with the shot not others before it - but in the end it doesn't really matter. I like it.

12.09.08
YIPPEE!! My first ribbon, I am very excited watching my score go down with the 2 and then the 3's and 4's was a bit disheartening but it all worked out okay. Yea for Trickster the Frog!!

I was thinking about coiled bamboo too (from my local bamboo grove), but all the frogs have gone as it's too cold here no for them.
Congratulations on your first ribbon.

What a handsome dude (or pretty lady?) - I thought of curled bamboo for this challenge but didn't have anything even close to being this cute to augment it! I love how some frogs just look like they're smiling... Good luck! -- 8 --

I like the complimentary colors. The photo has a sharp focus and nice DOF. I have no concerns with the photo at all. I'm concerned about the timing of the photo. Last week a photo featuring frogs won Hanging On By A Thread challenge. After voting on frogs for a week. Then seeing frogs on their DPC home page for a week, are they going to give this photo a 10 that it deserves? This type of photo resembles other photos taken by mom2two. Good luck.
