Probably not the most original but the idea got stuck in my head and I couldn't get it out.

The spoon is suspended by fishing line. I am going to have to see if I can get lighter stuff because this stuff was thick and a pain to clone out. Flash was fired from close to the spoon through a brolly.

Editing: In lightroom I adjusted levels and then exported as a TIFF. In PSP XI I cloned out the fishing line, resized and then exported to JPG.

Post-challenge:
So it appears that I now have my first top 10 image. Unfortunately, it is because someone got DQ'd. I'll take it but geez...it sucks getting it this way.

I think this deserves more than just top 10, so i wouldn't worry about how you got it. Love this shot! Easily top 5. Cheers.

Like the idea but the spoon could be clearer

I wondered what had happened to Uri... oops wrong time reference. It's bad being so old. A matrix reference I guess. I want some chocolate chip cookies with my spoon. :P Nice DOF and composition. Congrats.

Ha ha , nicely done, a little out of focus on the spoon, but you get the message

Great depth of field and just a shame that the spoon isn't tack sharp (might have been difficult if it is falling rather than being suspended). Simple composition but tells the story well. 8.

PS I expect you to do the "desperate fight in the small toilet" scene next...

good idea. I can see some kind of manipulation on the handle and it's a bit distracting.

I thought my self about this composition, so I can't say it is not creative :)
I like blurring the background and focusing on the spoon, the only thing that I don't like on this picture is the reflection on the spoon. Nicely done,
I hope my critique is taken a positive way, all the best.
