How'd I do that? Mounted camera on tripod in my backyard after sundown.
30 second exposure starting with hand in frame with first curtain flash. After flash fired, I grabbed a lighter and can of WD40 and sprayed from beneath camera and ahead of where my hand was in the frame. Took about 50 shots to get one usable. Would have taken more but my neighbors were coming out to investigate all the flash pops and flames!
PP: Adjust contrast to darken hand, boost saturation of flame slightly, clone out dust/spots. Resize, sharpen, add frame, and save for web.
