Can't believe you didn't score higher, considering some of the entries above you. I loved this during voting and gave it a 9. Excellent image.

Ah, yes. A plate of gravy with a little stuffing and turkey to carry to the mouth on.

interesting DOF here, unfortunetly for me, there is too much of the same colour bleeding into each of the other colours. Nice and sharp details though

I guess you were going for the antique look? this does have a special feel.

I like the lighting on this and think the meal looks great. I'd just like to see the whole plate.

nice idea with the shutter speed. Good idea to selectively desat your pic to draw attention tot he plate. The only thing is the colour on the plate seems a bit off, slightly pink.

I like your composition and the long exposure. However the color of the food seems off, perhaps just desaturated, but it makes the food look unappetizing -- which I'm guessing was very appetizing in person!

Great angle and colors. For some reason, I wish the plate at the front was empty... it seems to take away from the beautiful simplicity or the rest (I know, I know. It wouldn't be a feast any more ;-)

This was a great idea for a photo. I would have changed my vantage point to a lower position so that I could pick up more of the guest movement. I am assuming that you used PS to adjust the colors in the foreground plate. I also think that this was a good idea, however, it was muted by the food that was on the plate. It seems like just a heap of mushy stuff and the arrangement/placement of the food takes away from the picture.

Great perspective. Interesting tones too.

I like that this is a long exposure shot, it really helps convey the energy at the dinner table. I would consider bumping up the warmth of the picture, it's looking a little blue, and slightly underexposed.

the colors aren't very flattering for the food. It looks a bit sickly as it is right now, I do like where you put the plate in realtion to the table as well as the motion of the people.

Lovely shot with lots of dof and interesting blur of all the others. I'd like to see all of the plate visible, though. 7

Interesting use of WA distortion and slow shutter. Colors no good though. Better in bw.

This is just how I would imagine a dream of thanksgiving when I was little. The distorted perspective, complete with oversized plate. The disconnect with the busily talking adults. Interesting take.

I like perspective you've taken with this. I'm guessing it's the lens you used, but it looks crooked at the top of the picture. 7

i would have included the whole plate, and perhaps cropped a bit of the left side of the photo off
