Color looks off on this. Has it been white balanced? Did you adjust levels or hue/saturation?

This is a nice photograph, but I think it would have been much better if you didn't use the flash.

Your main topic is not Rusted, and the background doesn't support or enhance the flower.

I only wish that leaf could be eliminated from the left side

Flash was too intense.

I would have tried to take the picture when more natural light was available. Pictures exposed with only an on-camera flash almost never work. The harsh frontal lighting and the hard shadows make the image look like it is composed of three very flat planes. Cropping the top fourth from the image would help the composition dramatically.

Too bad you couldn't get this shot wit natural light instead of with a flash.

Between the flat flash lighting, and over boosting either the saturation or the contrast, you've made this look like cutouts. That's fine if you are doing abstract graphic art, but it is contrary to the aesthetics of photography.

Hard to see the rust here and the flower draws the attention as the subject.

Incongruity and posed pics are not my thing. The flowers seem overexposed therefore flat. Perhaps if this were taken in softer light and relabelled "The old scythe at rest" I might buy it.

This might be just a touch too much flash.

Looks like you used flash there, as the lighting seems pretty harsh, picture could be in better focus, Good luck :)

harsh flash light, a diffuser might have helped

There seems to be an overall green tint to the entire image.

Looks like a bitt too much lighting is washing out the detail on the flowers.

Vibrant colors. Composition seems unbalaced somehow - definitely dont like the green leaft in the upper left.
