 This is a photo of the spiral pasta, cropped a little. I tried to make it look like its some sort of heat coils by using saturation and shadows/highlights. I'm not sure what kind of scores this will get, or what will score well. We'll see! crop, sharpen, saturation, resize, sharpen, glow.

A stumper, so meets the challenge. I am not resonating with the subject or choice of colors, however. There seems to be a lot of distracting specks ... maybe sensor dust or dust on the subject. In advanced editing, I might have cloned the worst of it out of the image. But maybe your intent was to show the flaws. If so, it worked.

Whoa, hello over saturation of cork screw noodles.
Macro is always tricky making sure the focus (DOF) is spot on. I find a remote release shutter is best as pressing the on body shutter button causes a lot of movement in a tight shot.
