 Slice of Life Side Challenge - #13

Each month there is a full moon party at our little beach club. Everyone brings their own food and drink, and the club supplies live music for dancing. Last night was a particularly beautiful night with the temperature in the high 70s (F) and a light breeze off the ocean.

I know the focus is very soft or even OOF on the people, but the individuals are not meant to be the subject of this photo. I intended the subject to be the moon and the event.

at first I thought this was done with a fisheye because of how the curtains and chairs and people sort of wrap around with the moon as focal point. That's pretty cool to have a full moon party.

That's very nice to see. Now I hear surf LOL. Thanks for the reminder about how nice it can be to just hang out at the beach and watch the moon rise over the ocean.

beautiful feel to this image, and the lighting works so well to give this a sophisticated, sorta jazz club feel

hey julianne .. love the darkness and that the ppl are not that distinct ..
the moon and that beautiful blue is excellent .. sounds like a great idea to get together for the full moon .. have you noticed anyone becoming a bit 'different' .. lol .. :)

Think you captured it very well! This photo has a special atmosphere. Not sure if a flash for the people in the foreground would have worked.
