 I love these Japanese Maples this time of year. If you are lucky enough to have some nearby, they offer a spectacular last blaze of crimson before they lose their leaves. Sadly now, the rest of the trees are naked and bare and the chill of winter is in the air.

I love the contrast of the red and blue. I wish there was some more texture of the leafe in the center. Good use of contrasting colors.
