Cartesia was playing a game on the computer and boy was she focused. She also looks so much older - she's growing way too fast.

Edit:
The softness was from the Nik Classical Soft Focus and then Nik Vignette Blur. I think using a light touch is the key.

She does look very deep in thought! I think it's great how you guys capture the girls. My parents didn't take many pictures of me and my brother when we were kids, all we have are those horrible school photos!

OMG .. she is growing up .. !!
she'll be 20 years old before you know it .. my daughter ali will be 20 on the 1st december and her life seems to have gone in the blink of an eye ...
this is another one of your amazingly beautiful portraits ken .. so soft and delicate .. i really love how you do the processing on your children .. a tutorial wouldnt go amiss .. i'd love to know you achieve these gorgeous results .. :)
